About

Culture and communication have always been my area of interest. I followed that interest throughout my studies and in my career, so I can make them my area of expertise. For the last couple of years my work required constant business communication with people from different countries, regardless the company or the position I was on.  I’ve spent years learning (by my own and other people’s success and mistakes), so I can do what I do now- teaching intercultural communication.

I strongly believe that ‘the key’ to successful communication is to listen, so you can understand. Not to reply, to understand. Effective communication even between people from the same cultural and linguistic group is often difficult enough. But when one tries to communicate with people who do not speak their language and have different ideas, attitudes, assumptions, perceptions, and ways of doing things- the chance of misunderstanding increases enormously. This is why it is so important to try to understand. This is where I can help.
